Why walk when you can dance? ~Ellen von Dam

DANCE BIO

Dance has been an integral part of Jennifer's life since she was 12 years old. It was a late start but once she discovered the exhilaration of dancing to Chaka Khan's Aint Nobody, she never looked back. Jennifer recently returned to the dance universe, after life interrupted her journey, and she is grateful to be teaching again and nurturing her students as part of her purpose in life: to connect and inspire. Her classes cultivate a kinesthetic awareness within each student of their own unique body and encourages a strong technical foundation to help reduce the risk of injury. Jennifer graduated with a Master of Fine Arts/Dance Performance from Florida State University then enjoyed performing (Demetrious Klein Dance Co., Actors Playhouse, Jupiter Theater, RIF/Visa Tour, SilverSeas Cruise Lines, etc. ) as well as teaching across the USA (Missouri State University, New World School of the Arts, Palm Beach Atlantic College, Ballet Florida). She studied a variety of styles including Graham technique, ballet, contemporary, and tap but her heart will always belong to jazz and musical theater and most recently, the provocative, comedic stylings of burlesque.
